I read the wall street journal and one of the columnists is a satire writer in the lifestyle section each Saturday.   His name is Joe Queenan and often writes from the persona of the "cranky old guy".  His latest article takes virtually and makes a tongue in cheek view of hoarding in virtual reality

I laughed out loud because being married to an uOCPD spouse and living with hoarding, made fun of so many things in my life.  The columnist wrote of "throwing everything away and strapping on a VR helmet to still be surrounded by possessions" or "walking around  revisiting the past".

While it doesn't solve anything the satire of the behavior is lighthearted and made me laugh.
It is unwise to seek prominence in a field whose routine chores you do not enjoy.

Really glad to see a post from you, JSJ.

Agreed re satire - it doesn't solve anything, but a laugh at it feels good, doesn't it?
