This is so stressful for you. To me, the fact that you are prepared to stand your ground and fight this in court speaks volumes about how you were treated. The fact they are prepared to go to court and fight for access to the grandchildren in spite of your wishes and without really, truly and repeatedly trying to come to some sort of accord with you also speaks volumes. I mean, let us remember that you only asked for a break.

Moglow has pointed out that they are fighting for YOUR children at the expense of their own child. I well remember how my mother would say that grandchildren would be her reward for the grim task of bringing up her own children. (I paraphrase, but not much.) Now I am very glad that she has no grandchildren from either of her offspring. At one point she threatened to disinherit me if I did not produce some. This is how they think.
