Hi all,

I used to lurk on this site a lot, and it genuinely helped me to make the decision to go NC with my parents. I maintain this was and still is the right thing to do. But they've now decided to take us (me and husband) to court to gain visitation rights to see my children. I'm going to post in the NC section, but I thought I'd wave hello here first...

Welcome! I never knew parents could sue for visitation rights. Sounds over the top.

Welcome.  I've heard of grandparents suing before, but as far as I know, courts haven't accepted that grandparents have any right to access their grandchildren.  Please keep us posted on how you are doing, and here is some good if infuriating reading on parental and grandparental estrangement and resulting nutty behavior.
