When you went NC, did you go quietly or was there a final confrontation?

@Cat of the Canals so he did go NC? that's great! I mean, this decision is so big but..in the end, his life is going to improve massively. He'll see.

He's currently NC, but it's definitely temporary. She's been texting him several times a day all week, and he's just biding his time before he responds to ask what she wants. (Most of them are "Please text me." So annoying and obvious bait. IF YOU HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY, JUST SAY IT.)

Last night she sent one at 4:36 AM to let him know it's her brother's 75th birthday. Ummm... why was that a text that needed to be sent in the middle of the night?! This is why we both have to keep our phones on Do Not Disturb all night. She does this all the time.

He was going to text her back today but changed his mind because he had a headache and didn't want to add to it. There's a 100% chance she's going to start right up with her games again, so I won't be surprised if he in turn goes straight back to NC. I think he feels the need to give her a few more "last chances" before he comes to terms with it being over.

I keep imagining him as a character in a shootout in an old Western. He keeps poking his head out the front door of the saloon to see if she's gone yet. And every time he does it, she shoots at him. At some point, he'll realize she has endless ammo, and he'll figure out the only way to escape is to sneak out the back door and GTFO for good.
