Thank you for raising me better than you were raised. It left me with enough resilience to survive childhood and finally get away and break the multi-generational legacy of abuse. Your grandkids are awesome and full of confidence.

I bought one yesterday for my demented uNPDm.  $0.50 at the Dollar Store. Fairly generic.  Nothing gushy.  Basic "hope you have a great day". She use to get the gushy ones when I was in the FOG.  Then I'd get the passive-aggressive "ooh, you don't really mean that" so I stopped with those and went to the funny ones.   Now it's just generic.  She doesn't even know who we are now so it felt wrong not to send something. I feel sorry for her.  Not pity, just sorry.
