Quote from: Blueberry Pancakes on April 01, 2025, 11:36:42 AMThank you NarcKiddo and OverHere. The stock answers are good to have on hand. I also thought if they approach me and my husband again when we are seated at a table, I would say something similar "We are having a personal conversation - please excuse us." I am not sure they would walk away, but I could try.

I think the worst I can do is say what immediately comes to mind which is not good. It is along the lines of an eye roll followed by a heavy sigh then blurting out "Oh no. Not you again. Don't you know I want nothing to *****ng do with you". Ugh! I think I freeze a bit because I get focused on withdrawing my natural gut reaction to them.

Thank you again.

I am in a similar situation.  Estranged, haven't seen each other in years, 'NC' but she is the only one maintaining contact despite changing numbers and blocks.  The contact is abusive and insulting and full of blame with demands to fix things.

I don't engage with her.

It's relentless. It's never ending. It's every few weeks.  It's a campaign of hate and interrogations from her.

I thought about doing similar in recent times and replying back to her with something vague like this but I don't think I will.  I think it will only just give her a respond and fuel her into continuing.  It will only just anger her more.

She gets no respond.  I focus my energy into my own life and what I enjoy.  The harassment and hate campaign, it is difficult.

Did you do this? Did you respond to your person? If so, what was the response.
