I'm living this right now. I want to leave. I SHOULD leave. But I have absolutely no confidence my children will be safe without me there. He's already picked up my DD by her neck. What else will he do to them when I'm not there to protect them? That's why I stay. And waste my ENTIRE life to protect them.

It sounds like you and the children are in physical danger. What he has done to the little one is criminal.  Have you spoken to a domestic abuse organisation?
