I ha e a small bathtub for my shower stall
It's a round tub that is about 32*32 inches. The top has an inflatable tube that helps hold the shape and acts as a bit of a cousion/bumper.  A hole formed at a seam in the plastic.I still used it anyway as there are no leaks.  I really like being able to soak sore muscles after using mower and tractor etc.  I love my little 46 dollar tub.

The other evening I was organizing a little luggage bag I had taken on a camping trip and a vinyl air mattress patch fell on the floor.  When I picked it up I was so happy.

I immediately thought about the tub.

So silly perhaps, but things like this bring me joy.  Joy I cannot share with the pdh.  He would just not get it, would demean it, or would turn it into a criticism.

How do you get a hole in the tub.
It must be cheap.
Why not buy a nice one.
It's old get a new one or just forget it. 
Where did you get it anyway.
Now you wo t have a patch for the mattress.
How come you did not know the patch was in the camp bagg

I think it's awesome that you can find joy on the little things. A nice soak in the tub, a tub that does the job and didn't break the bank. A patch showing up when you could use it, which is a solution popping up and solving a problem without any work. I love it when I can quickly and easily take care of something. I'm sorry you can't share in these little joys with your husband.

Ughhhh....  It is sad and exhausting when we have to censor every thought.  Life can be really frustrating so I too rejoice in these little blessings. 

That's a lot of negativity to deal with, probably not worth it.  (My kids call this "being a dream-squasher".)  I am happy that you shared it here with the online crew, and sorry you can't with H.

Go and patch your little tub and have a good soak!
