Realizing I grew up amongst psychopaths

Therapy made me realize I grew up amongst psychopaths. My parents are psychopaths and their parents are also.

I hope to make new friends through this forum because I feel people on this forum understand the struggles of living amongst Cluster B personality disordered family members.

I had to estrange myself from my family because I felt like I entered a psych ward when I talk to them. These people don't live in reality. It's impossible to maintain a healthy relationship so I cut off contact.

I'm glad you found us and yes, you are not alone. Many of us here come from narcissistic and otherwise dysfunctional family systems and it can feel very isolating.
