Hello, I've been lurking this forum for a while and looking for advice on a covert, lying, manipulative MIL. Married for a long time (but still pretty young) with a foggy H and just done with the stuff from his FOO. Apologies for any errors, I don't internet well.

welcome to the group hawkie- i'm sorry the relationship with your MIL has been this way.  truthfully participating here has helped me SO MUCH in dealing with my MIL who if she isn't a uPD is a DIFFICULT PERSON and best kept at arms length.

an example -she gave me the silent treat for MONTHS after i told her she couldn't just unilaterally decide to come stay with all her kids in shifts after she decided to retire and that 2 of her 5 kids (and their spouses) were to be responsible for her care and feeding when she wasn't  blowing her SS at some off strip casino in NV.
