Introducing myself

Hello,

I've been reading this site for about a year now and finally decided to join tonight.
I have a 20 year old ASPD son, though he has also been diagnosed with Bipolar.

It's been a tough couple of years and I'll post more on the forum going forward. It has been helpful to read the posts and know I'm not alone in experiencing what I've been through. The substance abuse, the lying and the lack of consideration for others has worn me down.

navigating a relationship with an adult child with PD/ uPD is difficult enough without throwing in the added challenges that substance abuse adds to the equation.   we have a pretty active group of parents who post here seeking support and validation and i am sure when you are ready to share the collective wisdom will benefit from your contributions.
