Nmom so delusional

This has no purpose except I just need positive thoughts and well-wishes for Nmom.  She is so very delusional.  She phoned me to say she was living in the back of a local gas station and had been trying all day to phone me to come get her.  I listened and assured her all was well and I'd have a nurse check on her.  I called her facility and they said she was "off the charts" delusional.  She's become fixated on a lifestyle choice of my sisters that she doesn't agree with and it's finally pushed her over the edge.  It's sad and maddening and pointless and unredeemable. We can only visit once/week with covid restrictions, so I'll see her Thursday.  I dread it so.

Amadahy, I'm truly glad she's in a facility that can care for her and keep her safe as she goes through this transition.

After your visit Thursday, do you have anything planned for yourself? Something you enjoy, that helps you relax and shed the PDness? If not, I encourage you to schedule some time out for yourself to do what you enjoy. (Even if that is simply sitting doing nothing at all for a couple of hours.)
