I am the power of attorney for my mother. She has allowed her nephew to live with us. He has told me to drug her with weed to calm her down and to lock her in her room. I told her and she confronted him. He admitted to the weed, but she defended him and yelled at me. She has always taken everyone's side over mine, yet I am the only person who has ever been there for her.
