New/Old hobby restored.

The other day my son came across some of my old writing material ( in a former life I was an author and have written about several poems and short stories). He has begged me to revisit this "hobby" and has even offered to help with it. I think it might be fun to see what happens.

My kid and her friend sometimes do writing projects together. Maybe you and your son might enjoy that? Here are the projects my kid and friend have done:

1) Made writing prompts and each write something based on the idea.

2) Writing chains - one writes a paragraph, covers all but the last line by folding the paper, then gives it to the other to continue the story, back and forth. Then it's a lot of fun surprises to read the finished monstrouaity aloud!

3) Friend writes something, kid illustrates it.

4) They discuss the plot points of a story in great detail together, then one actually executes it in story or comic format.

Love all ideas and will be using them, my son wants to go a step further, take the ideas and make YouTube screenplays.
