How common is denial in BPD?  Is there ever a point in trying to show them their very obvious patterns?  I'm thinking it's pointless since they have already decided I'm trash, and found other people as the good cops. If so, it seems totally pointless .. two irreconcilable worlds and the observations will just be perceived as terrible and baseless criticisms and reinforce their shit opinion of me.

I think that projection is a common tool used buy bpd folks.

There are many abusive games they play to manipulate.

You will unlikely change them but you can change how you respond to them. You can change how and of you will buy into the games

The toolbox part of this website is very useful

Question #1-Very  #2 No.
Focus on the toolbox and changing your reactions. The three C's are game changers.

Their reality has nothing to do with objectivity.  At least in what I have experienced.  You also need to realize that the communication is totally jacked up.  What is said has everything to do with how they are feeling about themselves and hardly anything to do with what actually is.
