Starboard Song

Bless your heart!

I can't imagine having to sacrifice so much so directly for a person who is doing so much harm. It is a terrible dilemma. It does sound like you've held up well, and been quite a trooper in the face of what really can be crushing adversity.

My hat's off to you.

Good luck as this moves along. And do work to find that little place where you can thrive in all the crazy. I hope you have someone IRL to take care of you a little, because you deserve some pampering too, when these long days are done.

But I believe you owe it to them and to yourself to be kind and clear as you communicate and enforce your boundaries, always speaking in ways that are up to your standards.
Starboard Song - This thought may merit it's own thread.  I agree with what you said, 100 percent.  But how do I do it?  I think I will start a new thread because I need help in figuring out how to do this right now.
