I think many of us come to this section because we want to have good, healthy friendships in our lives, but it can be a challenge.

I wanted to share this resource, as I think it has a lot of good ideas (and research) about friendships and how to create and enhance them.

I'm bumping this thread with another friendship resource.  This woman has a very extensive blog (and now two books, as well as some Youtube videos) exploring the issues in women's friendships.  She has studied research on friendship and I have found her material quite helpful in terms of sorting out some of the sticky points in my friendships over the years.

I'm going to link to one article on the blog, but if you scroll down the side, you'll see many other topics.  For anyone who wants healthier, more fulfilling friendships, I think this is a great resource. Its more about gaining clarity for ourselves in terms of what we value in our friendships, and how to put that into action, than it is about figuring out why certain people don't treat us the way we want.

I think this post will also resonate with folks on this forum. There are also over 100 comments on it, so you may find the comments as helpful as the post itself.

I am happy to know you've appreciated them!   There is so much material out there about romantic and family relationships, but friendship is a topic that isn't discussed as much.  And yet, friendships are an important part of life.

Great links that we can all benefit from.  Thank you!
