Projection/hypocrisy again

Typical exchange with updh.
Me: did you already change the printer cartridge?
H: do you need to print something?
Me: ...did you change it already?
H: answer my question.  Do you need to print something? Don't answer my question with a question.
Me: (in my head cuz you know
MC...I asked my question first!!!) yes...no...already did...
H: I was going to but didn't yet.

So. He was getting defensive cuz he procrastinated....something he claims he doesn't do. So got snippy with me and projected on me what HE was doing....not answering MY question!

So frustrating

In the morning I would have to get up and sit near the front door and wait for my xOCPDh to leave for work.  I would be hunched over my coffee cup and a pad of paper by my side.  It was all for the inevitable list of things I needed to do that day.  Tossed off as he raised for the door looking for keys, wallet, computer, etc.

He would then call me two hours later and ask if I finished the list.

But I could never ask him if he did whatever he promised to do.  Because he wouldn't have done it.  Guaranteed.

And then when he was home next, he would just redo whatever I had done.

So frustrating.
