Take a seat, inner critic!

Hello dears,

I'm putting this in writing here, to make myself more apt to do it.   

Somehow, I've allowed myself to believe that self-care is selfish.  Anytime I do anything healthy or kind or loving for myself, I feel guilty and wrong.  Logically, I know this is a false belief, but my inner critic hasn't gotten the message.  As Rodney Norman says, our subconscious is kind of a jerk.  LOL.  (He's a darling youtube comedian who always makes me laugh.)  Anyway .....

Tomorrow, July 1, I'm beginning a dedicated practice to bodywork that will help calm my nervous system, primarily vagal nerve work, breathwork, and others.  I'm setting aside a corner of my beautiful porch for this.  It is my haven, my safe space and I want to associate it with healing work and with telling my inner critic to take a hike.  I feel like my health is at a tipping point and it's now or never.

So, now it's Out of the FOG official and I must follow through.   

Second half of 2022, I'm gonna own you!!!
