Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this.  It is a genuine question though so I hope to get some feedback.

The 16 year old son of one of my dearest friends was killed in a car crash a fortnight ago.

This forum has been the biggest help to me over many years as its members have experienced what I go through with my uNPDs.

I'm wondering if there's a similar forum for parents whose children have died in road accidents.  I'm sure the best help for my friend and her family would be from others who have experienced the same.  (That and trauma therapy.)

Can anyone point me in such a direction?

Associate of Daniel - I am so sorry that your dear friends and your own family are experiencing this painful loss of a precious son.

I don't know enough about a forum specific to automobile accident loss of a loved one, but there are great online grief support groups. Here is a link to one that is recommended and vetted by PsychCentral: https://forums.grieving.com

Here is a link to the article that outlines their criteria for recommending this grief support forum and that offers other online and in person grief support resources. https://psychcentral.com/health/online-grief-support-groups#our-picks

What a dear and thoughtful friend you are to help find support for this hurting family. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Thank-you for your reply and links, Bloomie.  I'll pass them on to my friend when things are more settled.

The funeral was yesterday. I really have no words. We are all so devastated.
