Hi there, its hard to believe its been almost 6 years to the week when I had my lightbulb moment with uPDw.  Although I haven't been active here I still have come back to read the resources and forum posts over the years and its been a big help.   Without having a place to come and read about experiences of others in the same situation and the resourses available here, this journey would be much more lonely and difficult than it is.

Lately I've felt drawn to post here again after reading through some posts and feeling like I have been lacking in doing anything for myself, or at least not feeling guilty about it.  Things in my relationship have been better than they were 6 years ago, but I feel like I have been complacent in self care and awareness when things are "good", even though I know that its only a matter of time before all heck breaks loose again.  Even if only for a short time.

So hello everyone and thank you for keeping up this great resource for everyone like me who may not always talk, but we are out there learning and gaining comfort through your posts.

Here! Here!

I think there are many of us who share that feeling: so glad this community has a safe and positive home. I continue to learn and grow here.
