You Really Cannot Trust Them With Any Information

Your successes, your losses, or your vulnerability. Nothing is sacred and in their mind it's okay to manipulate information, usually in a way that creates a win-lose dynamic.

A person with a NPD/ antisocial tendencies will destroy your trust and then blame you for it.

It's a shame it's so difficult to actually charge someone once they have crossed serious boundaries, simply because the abuse is not physical.

Invisiblewoman - It is a double whammy to exerience such betrayal and then be blamed when you no longer trust! I am so sorry you are experiencing this.
The most powerful people are peaceful people.

The truth will set you free if you believe it.

It's terribly painful, IW.  I'm so sorry you have had to experience this.

There's a line in  one of the 12 Step programs about "learning to trust people who are trustworthy."  I find that a worthwhile goal.  Most people in my life are trustworthy.  The uNPD isn't.  Nor my FOO at least one of whom is uPD, and the others are carrying a lot of fleas, at minimum.

I want nothing to do with people who use your vulnerability to manipulate, control, and degrade you, but in one case I have no choice.  I watch my back around that person.  And still, I get blindsided sometimes.

It takes time to learn who you can trust.  Eventually people show the limits of their trustworthiness.  It's possible to get better at gauging these things.  Some of this really boils down to learning to trust yourself ... that I will not sacrifice my wellbeing to please another, that my judgement about people is getting better, that I will take care of myself in all ways.  It's a process.  Maybe if a frog can be desensitized to deadly heat it's also possible to re-sensitize  it if you can get it out of the steaming pot for a while.

I hope for healing for you ... and all of us.

Predator and prey.
Parasite and host.
PD and target-non.

Always seems to be about feeding and victimhood. Almost animalistic in nature to be so self-focus motivated at all times.

Sorry it's so tough to deal with.

They are not trustworthy, yes. It's scary, actually.
Telling something small to a narcissist seems innocent when you realize that any personal info you feed them will be used as a weapon against you in the future. I learned to lie to them, it's so easy, plus they'll never suspect you of keeping the truth away from them. Why? They feel so special that they can't imagine someone not being truthful to them. :stars:

They have reached the absolute point of no return.

They lied to me to confuse and control me, then they tried to dispossess the lies they told as if they were mine.

To think I had trusted them as a child and they betrayed that trust is so terrible.

They're on a 0 strikes policy now. Show up at my address and refuse to leave, I'll call the police. Keep their shit up with trying to give out my address and all the other fuckery they've tried with trying to destroy me- police will be called. Some of them have assaulted me and made afraid for my life. I'm not playing anymore.
