Hey,
So grateful to have found FOG. I have been married to a PD for over 40 years. We both love the Lord, yet, living with him lately has zapped all my internal energy. I struggle with keeping my mouth shut when he projects blame. Everything, I mean everything centers around him. I am learning more and more about PD, yet, it isn't making it any easier to stay. Lord, led me here, so maybe I have finally found the peace I need to stay focused and keep my mind. Thanks for letting me share.

Hi and welcome to Out of the FOG. I am glad you found this community as well. 40 years is the long haul and I imagine you are most certainly zapped!!

This is a group of people who get it in ways that I have not found elsewhere. There is something about seeing someone's words and experiences that you have never met ring eerily true for your own that sheds some light on the isolation and difficulty of living with someone whose orientation to life is themselves. Very hard to find respite from it all! 

There are great resources here for you. The toolbox at the drop down menus above, the book recommendations, other online resources are all gathered here to empower and help you. Take your time to look around and when you are ready, join the conversations taking place on the boards!
