Hello Reeda Bigot,

Welcome to Out of the FOG.  Im sorry to read that you, your husband and your son's sister are experiencing such difficulties with an emotionally abusive son.

I will advise you visit the toolbox tab above and read over the materials presented. There you will find clickable terminology that may assist you as you progress in your desire to protect yourself. I will suggest that proper boundaries is a foundational tool as the other tools assist.

Please keep in mind regarding boundaries, that we can each only control our own actions and reactions, not those of another adult human.  In addition, I suggest visiting the YouTube channel of Dr. Ramani, a specialist in personality disorders.  I provided a link below to her series on understanding the terminology and traits.

I look forward to interacting with you around the topical forum boards.  You are not alone.
