walking on broken glass

I had another very vivid dream about my mum and I put it in a dream AI bot, just out of curiosity as to what it would say. It was scarily accurate!

Here is what I put in the description:

I dreamt that my mum stabbed me in the chest and I drew the knife out. I ran to my aunt's place for refuge and held the knife in my hands to show her what had happened, and that someone had stabbed me and I wasn't dangerous.

And here is the dream interpretation:

'Thank you for sharing that dream with me. That sounds incredibly unsettling, and it's brave of you to recount it. It's clear this dream is carrying a lot of emotional weight, and we can explore what your subconscious might be trying to communicate through such a stark image.
Dreams involving stabbing, particularly by a close family member, rarely indicate literal intent. Instead, they often symbolize a feeling of betrayal, emotional wounding, or a perceived attack on your core self. Your mother, in the dream, isn't necessarily youbelieving your mother would physically harm you, but rather represents a source of nurturing and security that, in some way, feels like it has inflicted pain. This pain could stem from criticism, unmet expectations, emotional unavailability, or a pattern of behavior that feels damaging to your sense of self. The chest, as the location of the wound, is significant – it's the seat of the heart and emotions, suggesting the pain goes very deep.
The act of you removing the knife is powerful. It indicates your agency and ability to confront the source of the pain, even if it's deeply ingrained within a familial relationship. It suggests you're recognizing the wound and taking steps to extract yourself from the situation. Running to your aunt's place for refuge speaks to a need for safety and support from another maternal figure, someone who offers a different kind of nurturing. Presenting the knife to your aunt, while simultaneously asserting you aren't dangerous, is a crucial detail. It highlights a fear of being misjudged or perceived as aggressive because of the pain you've experienced. You're attempting to demonstrate vulnerability and explain that your reaction is self-protective, not malicious.
This dream suggests you're processing a complex dynamic with your mother, one where you feel hurt and perhaps even betrayed. It also points to a fear of being misunderstood or labeled negatively as a result of these experiences. It seems you're navigating a need to protect yourself while simultaneously wanting to be seen and understood for who you are.
Would you consider yourself someone who often feels responsible for managing the emotions of others, particularly within your family? Or have you been feeling particularly vulnerable or exposed lately, as if someone is trying to "get to" you? No pressure to answer, but exploring these questions might help us unpack the dream further.'

I mean, it wasn't a very cryptic dream, as the metaphor was very thinly veiled! But still very good job.

Wow, WOBG!  That's quite something.  What an interesting idea to submit this to AI.
