Hi everyone...
It's been a long while since I've posted anything on here. I'm glad to see that the community still appears to be active and thriving. This place was a voice in the wilderness when I first found it many years ago. It is informative, edifying, and even entertaining to some extent. Hello again!

My wife (uPD) and I are still married. 80% of the time, she's my favorite person in the world. The other 20% ... well, that often feels like 100% more than anyone should tolerate even for 1 second. I'm always happy to discuss this life some of us have chosen to live with the sometimes wonderful, and other time downright awful people we love.

good to know you've kept on keeping on- I've used a lot of the advice from this part of the forum on the job where leaving was not an option.  for me- I had to really learn to depersonalize a lot of the situation at work and it made night/day difference.

I have to agree with you about the 80/20 rule. I'd like to hear your story if you feel like sharing. I am a newbie in this world and always looking for not necessarily success stories, but smiling even when you have grit in your teeth stories. You know, where the rubber meets the road.
