Those are all wonderful goals gargoylemoss. I wish you all the best in achieving them!

Thank you so much blunk! That's very kind of you to say.

Felt good writing them down and focusing on my agency in life. It's a nice prompt.

Poison Ivy

Here are a few of mine.
I will maintain my boundaries with my ex-husband. Yes, it's okay if he comes to the house when our adult children visit from out of state. No, it's not okay for him to stay overnight at the house; he can get a hotel room.
I don't have to be perfect. For example, when people visit (see first goal), it's okay if the house isn't immaculate.
I don't have to apologize when I'm not perfect.

I am going to just say no.  This past year or so, I gave in to demands on my time to an extent that I am behind on my own work and goals. I am the only one who can fix this.

I need to spend less time playing online and distracting myself from things I don't like about life and instead do something about it.

I need to push push push to form a more normalized schedule instead of feeling like I am on calm 24/7. This bin part cases the "need" for distraction.

Example, I think through prioritize tasks and plan my day, then calls come in, fires need put out and it all falls apart and 48 hours later I feel like I have been the ball in a pinball machine.

I need to protect my fitness and recreation time!  Yes, I need time to be a healthy me.

A few of mine—
*something stressful happened— job loss, financial outlook is bleak, world is on fire, etc— you've gotten through hard things before, you will get through this too. Don't freak out. Just keep trying.

These sound great! They are all things you can definitely work on.

I really relate to these:

developing a personality outside of trauma, relationships and illness
writing
making peace with my symptoms

I think it is important for a lot of us here to uncover our natural personality outside of the life hardships. Not easy, but when I think about what is my personality when I am having a better time or a good part of a day? That is what I want to cultivate more of - someone curious, kind, and creative.
