I newly discovered the word narcissism well a year and a half ago, it's been a blessing and a curse so far. A blessing in recognizing "It's not me!" And a curse that kind of set me on a path of exposing hidden truths of narcissism and narcissistic people, the problem with that is that narcissistic people will do anything to avoid exposure and me I don't step out of moral guidelines set up by me for me. It's who I am. I am learning not allow the smears to bother me anymore I have become a goalie in my own life and know that anything that I allow into my psyche is a win for the narcissist. I've become quite a good goalie.

It's an interesting time when the light shines on narcissism and we can see it clearly.  It can be sad for a while because as often as not, we have been overlooking it in many areas of life and having a lot come into focus at ok nice can be overwhelming.

A lot of folks here had a stage where we sort of saw narcissists everywhere.  Sometimes this tones back down and we realize many people have traits at times but might not be full on narcissists.

It's a wild ride one you come Out of the FOG and can see it.
