The Other Bennet Sister

Anybody else watching "The Other Bennet Sister "? It's a bit of a guilty pleasure and like so many Austen spinoffs has laughably anachronistic tendencies, but the writers have clearly thought a lot about the psychology of Mary Bennet as the scapegoat child of a narcissistic mother! The way Mrs. Bennet cuts her down is so cruel and over the top cringy, and yet, not so far off from my own memories. It's interesting in this adaptation how so many of the characters see what's going on and work together to protect Mary after the events of Pride and Prejudice.

I have started watching this and it looks really enjoyable! Ditto about the narcissistic mum. I love anything Jane Austen related
