What it costs to operate Out of the FOG

Summary of Out of the FOG income and expenditures
Description of Expenses
Domain Registration: Domains are internet addresses which we pay an annual fee to register. Out of the FOG is available at the following domains:
Our domains are registered at GoDaddy.com.
Web Site Hosting: Our web site is the information (non message board) part of Out of the FOG. We pay an annual fee to have all of our content hosted on servers at GoDaddy.com. This service provides the storage and bandwidth which makes Out of the FOG available on the internet.
Message Board Hosting: Our message board is hosted by Zetaboards. We opt to pay an advertizing removal fee ($0.18/1000 post views) in order to suppress the banner advertizing.
Site Marketing: When we first launched Out of the FOG in 2007, we used Google Ads to publicize the site. These were ads displayed when someone performed a Google search related to a personality disorder.
How to support us
Thanks all the members who have financially supported Out of the FOG. Proceeds are used to offset the costs of running and publicizing the site. There are two main ways to contribute:
